Steve Vanik has been repairing and servicing scuba and scba life support systems since receiving his first scuba technician certificate in 1975 from Scubapro in California.
He entered into the scuba repair business with a previous background as an auto repair technician and vocational school teacher in Automotive Technology with ASE certifications in five specialty areas.
Steve has personally performed service work for resorts, commercial divers, charter boats, fire and police dive team members, college scuba programs, pool service companies, professional scuba instructors, divemasters, private industry fire response teams (scba), municipalities, insect extermination (scba) as well as sub-contractual work for various dive stores. He has reconditioned and repaired virtually thousands of regulators, cylinders, valves, BCD's, etc. with a far less than 1/2% return rate.
